Fazenda Cala´is the only pousada really localized in the beautiful praia do Espelho, between Trancoso and Caraiva. The owner, ceramic artist Joao José Calazans opened his house doors and transformed the property in an exclusive pousada.
Our proposal is to make you feel at home, in your own beach house, having dinner and savour meal done with love and kindness .Here you will not meet a chef with big squared trousers and a huge hat but real people wanting to offer you a good service with simplicity and sympathy.
The suites
In total 8 suites, five on the cliff and three on the beach, pied dans l´eau, done with the sophisticated simplicity of local architecture, that doesn’t deny candles in its decoration and privileges comfort.
All the suites have terrace and each window has a beautiful view .
We have a beach bar that serves appetizers on the beach and a restaurant in the main house. We also recommend Sylvinha´s restaurant, Asiatic/bahiano cuisine, and Mel’s sushi, on the same beach.
